and that made us so happy!

E and AJ came on a whim valentine's weekend....they couldn't get to someplace warm, so C-bus it was! We enjoyed the North Market, Candle Lab (more pics soon), and Dave and Buster's. Oh, and Italian Dunkers, a la school lunch! yum! Sunday was saying good bye, but having this time with home was just wonderful! Thanks for "settling" on c-bus, hehe!

i love RedRobin and although it isn't always DH's fave place....we ended up there in after a "local" place had 2.5hr wait...but from where we hear thurman's will be worth it when we get there!

DH is back at main hospital and the craziness of that schedule has started already.
I'm just muttling through work...same old.

i don't understand

Somethings in life are just beyond our comprehension. Take callen. I spent a couple summers babysitting callen and his sister megan. summers filled with pogs, bike rides, movies and playing with the neighbors. not sure i was the best babysitter but looking back, we had fun. callen has been a friend of my brother's since, well, since I can remember him having friends.

As I'm reading through pages of comments on FB at Callen's memorial page, I'm staring in admiration for this young man who touched so many lives with his smile, his genuine heart, and his talents. What an amazing young man he became, and it is bringing tears to my eyes that his life ended far too soon. His sister posted on her blog an adorable pic of the Callen i remember, what a cool kid!

to his family and friends, you're in my thoughts as this week culminates in a celebration of a wonderful life.

my new fitness goal

i mega failed in january...let's just move on past that.

so, i'm doing the Couch to 5K progam...in 9 weeks i'll be able to do a 5k.....well, i should be able to now but i think when i push it, i do it too fast and give up.

I'll do those workouts plus a couple classes and get this booty of mine back under control....lol
