well, well, well
what has the DJP fam been up to for like the last 6 mos?
Jan: ooh winter.....J had her annual meeting with the cs peeps, planning the fun year we'll have scrapping! D just worked (you'll see a theme soon!)
Feb: J visited her very good friend JR in MKE for a birthday weekend! We played bingo (btw, still got to get that old-school disposable cam developed!), went to the ice bar, saw SG and others, and enjoyed time with her parents. I love spending time with them all and it was another great girl's weekend! D worked.
Mar: D went to somewhere for a job interview. We have a lot of changes coming up in the next year, so I think we're both anxiously excited. Me probably more than him! J went on a scrapping retreat in amish country....very fun indeed! Ooh, and I got a lot done!!!
Apr: We celebrated our 12y dating anniversary-our golden! can't believe 12 yrs ago we were little 18yo (well I was 18, he was still 17...shh, hehe) going to the MN zoo for our first date! we're truly best friends! J crocheted a cute little cupcake: pink chiffon-so cute! We were invited to J's friend, KS, family easter, complete with 1100 easter eggs (that is NOT a typo!)
May: went to San Fran for a vacation! i'll do a separate post on the fun we had! D turned 30, and we celebrated with a very nice dinner in SF and a Giant's game. We ended the month spending time with friends on Memorial Day (cept the MMJK fam....they were ill, sad!)
June: has just begun. D's last month of his 4th yr residency. wow, time goes FAST!

time to get with it
DH and I have been kicking our own butts! We're kinda settling into a nice workout routine and actually are beginning to look forward to those workouts! It makes us less hungry, take deeper breaths, and just feel good about ourselves. so, this is a little happy GO US post :)

I am too critical of myself (and others who don't do things just like i would)
True friends do exist.
Time with family is worth so much.
Eating a lot and no exercise only makes me unhappy with myself.

Seeing my family (and nephew) again
roasted chicken dinner tonight (it's the simple things too!)

worked, crocheted, ran a couple errands, made dinner (what a boring life)

My fab mittens
new hooded sweatshirts
salted caramel hot chocolate
holiday fun
4 Places I would like to visit:
europe
canada
nyc, again
home
